this is unspecific as heck but i remember reading one feminist theory talking about how when men hold open a door for a woman or help them carry something heavy, is repressing them by insinuating that they are inferior.i couldnt beleive this when i read this. so i would say a downfall would be the overboard ways of pointing out oppression towards woman.next time im on the bus im going to ask a woman to get up so i can sit haha

umm well, i think many of the strengths that these sociological feminist theorists had was on how their perception of womanhood was socially constructed and not even real. the weakness of it is that it felt as though they were very judgmental and felt as though almost all men and most people looked down on women. I felt as though many of the feminist theorists that i have studied did not have any hope or optimism for womanhood.
